URGENT UPDATE AS OF APRIL 13, 2026:
AMOPS Annual Meeting Dress Code
Due to operational consideration and security mitigation strategies implemented by the Department of War, the
wearing of uniforms outside of the duty location has been restricted
to enhance safety and force protection (OPSEC) amid heightened global threats.
After further discussion with Senior military leaders,
we encourage all attendees to still follow their local commands' guidance.
If you are presenting, you have the option to wear your class A uniform,
otherwise attendance at all lectures and activities is business professional.
If you are attending the formal banquet, you may wear your dress uniform,
however, you must not wear your uniform outside of the hotel/conference venue.
the AMOPS AWARDS Banquet will also be formal, so please dress accordingly.
If you have been advised by your local command that you not wear your uniform in public,
you may bring it with you to be inspected.
